User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Swing into action
My grandson loves this swing. It arrived in time for Christmas! This toy was recommended by a cognitive therapist to improve his proprioceptive skills. Now I need one for my granddaughter!

1 Star not a safe product
I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter, who was very excited to have a swing in the back yard. It soon turned to disappointment. The ropes continually slid down to the longest adjustment and could not be adjusted to the desired height. We spent alot of time fiddling around at the tree limb to get it the right height, but the ropes seemd to stretch no matter what we did. The seat dumped her on the ground one to many times- flat on her back and almost striking her head. It now sits in my shed. She is not an uncoordinated child.

3 Stars Its cute but…
My problems with the actual product are 1. it only took a couple of years of light use before the ropes frayed, 2. the ropes give alot when you sit down, and 3. its a bit tippy. The seat is still in great condition. I do not recommend this as a first “big kid” swing once your toddler is ready to advance, its just to tippy. Now after getting my daughter past the fear of nearly falling off it, it was a great tool to teach her balance.

4 Stars Nice Basic Swing
This swing was a perfect starter for the oak tree in the front yard. My kids are 4 and 6 and I was able to put it up easily. It holds them nicely and is an attractive piece in the yard! Until they are bigger, this is a perfect little swing that is painted very cute! I recommend it!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars perfect first desk
I purchased this for our 2 yr old granddaughter to use at our house. She was delighted from day one! This is a superior choice to the plastic desks that are available and she’ll be able to use this for several years.

5 Stars Desk a hit
The desk is superb…But the manufacturer sent the box missing two pieces…with a TWO MONTH wait for replacement parts. UNACCEPTABLE service.

5 Stars great table for snacks!
We use this in the kitchen as a different seating option for our 16-month-old and he loves the freedom in being able to sit down whenever he wants and have a snack.

4 Stars A wonderful toddler item!
I had researched a lot of different desk products by Alex and decided on this one, primarily because of the other reviews I had read which rated it very highly. I’m glad that I did.

My 20 month old got this for Christmas and has used it almost every day since. It is sturdy, attractive and versatile! It is also very easy to assemble.

The reasons I did not give this item 5 stars are:

1. The desk is made from pressboard/particle board - no suprise, but a couple of the main pieces arrived with corners that were damaged. It didn’t effect its fuctionality, however, I would have prefered, of course, if it wasn’t damaged in any way.

2. The canvas bag that hangs on the back of the chair is very thin and doesn’t hold much. Also, the way that it is sewn makes it difficult to get into because of the tension.

3. I sort of wish that the under-chair shelf had a back on it so that the items placed on it couldn’t get pushed out the back and just end up on the floor.

Other than the above mentioned issues, we really love this desk and would recommend its purchase to any one who has a toddler!

5 Stars Desk is terrific.
I bought this for my two year grandson and he just loves it. He has his lunch and snack on it. It is very well constructed and was worth the money. It will last for many years.

Moon Sand Large Neighborhood Kit

Moon Sand Large Neighborhood Kit

Taking fun to a whole new level, this Moon Sand Neighborhood Press ‘N Play Kit from Spin Master never dries out so you can use it again and again for never-ending fun! It cleans up easily and won’t stick or stain.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Too Messy
I thought the Moon Sand sounded cool and fun because it was like play-doh but it never dried out. Well I was wrong. I think my daughter enjoyed it just the same as play-doh but it was more of problem for me as a parent. If my daughter enjoys play-doh just as much then I would rather buy that. The moon sand is very messy. It is messy to play with, messy to clean up and it doesn’t come out of all the molds that you put it into. It got to the point that I was finding bits and pieces all around my house even days after we cleaned it up. I don’t think it is worth getting just because it doesn’t dry out. Just buy new play-doh when it dries out and it is 10x easier to clean up!!!!

5 Stars Perfect indoor fun for younger kids with lots of creativity! Easy clean-up with no stains!
This is great. My 2-year-old loves it and so do I. The clean up is a breeze. NO play-doh stains, etc. Yes, it can get messy if you let your kids run around with it, but so does play-doh but that stains. This has gotten all over my carpet, fabric covered dining rooms chairs, clothing, hair (LOL, yes my 2-year-old is very active) and comes right up with NO scrubbing, etc. I found my best friend with this is a dust buster. This is perfect for indoor creativity as I let him play with it frequently because he needs little to no supervision as on the other hand play-doh I watch like a hawk because it does not come out of carpets, fabric, etc. I will say that play-doh does hold shape alot better so that will be our summertime fun, outdoors on the patio, but for winter fun, or anytime in the house I will always get moonsand.

1 Star Prepare for a mess that’s difficult to clean up
My 3 year old sone enjoyed this product, but we were both disappointed that the sand does not work well with the molds. The shapes simply will not stay together once he tries to pick them up. I find it misleading that the picture on the box shows molded shapes standing upright. Even working together we found this impossible to accomplish. Then the MESS was just terrible. The sand sticks to everything & has a weird residue that makes it tough to wipe up. I would not buy this again.

1 Star Worst Product Ever
I am very tolerant when it comes to tactile toys and messy toys, but I actually threw this one away after only using it once! It gets in every crevice and crack that is around. Plus it gets in the bottom of your shoes and gets tracked around the house. I had to strip my daughter and put her in the bath to clean up. Then I had to vacuum and mop the floor. This sand is so fine that gets everywhere. I much prefer playing with paint and small beads than this stuff. For something really fun and tactile, get a bag of rice (or small pasta) and funnels and measuring cups. The little ones like playing with it. You can also glue it down with colored glue. Cleaning up the spilled rice is super easy compared to Moon Sand.

3 Stars Prepare for the Mess
Got this as a gift for our son. It is an artificial sand complete with molds and tools plus some added little toys. The sand have pretty candy colors and are very attractive. But it is frustrating for little kids trying themselves to create critters with the molds as the sand crumbles very easily. It needs some help from grown-ups to press the mold harder to make a press. Still, once they hold them with their hands they crumbles.

It is just no way you can have this toy played inside the house especially near carpets or your couch. Be prepared for a big mess.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Grandmom that is very very happy.
I have had so many problem with finding a good table set for my grandchildren.I have return so many from Walmart and Target. I saw this one, order it and hope. When it came in me and my husband put it together and have loved it. thank you Amazon and grandchildren thank you.

5 Stars Nice Table
Very pleased with this table, it was easy to assemble. I like the space saving design and how stable the chairs and table are. My 18 month old boy still struggles to get on the chairs but no matter how much he pushes on them, they just won’t tip over like the ones we had. If anything, my only problem now is keeping him from standing on them since he figured that he can get away with that. My only improvement to this table would be a lip, so small items suchs as crayons don’t roll off. Overall this is a keeper.

5 Stars Excellent Investment
I bought this table set a few years ago to double as a craft table & dinette for my daughter’s kitchenette. It has lived up to or exceeded all of my expectations. I even had my daughter’s room painted to match the pull out toy box (lilac rhapsody). It is not only functional & well built but attractive. I would recommend for any little girl.

5 Stars Love this set
We bought this table and chair set for my son for Christmas. So, even though he hasn’t used it yet, I was impressed with how easy it was to put together. KidKraft marked all of the pieces in the box so that you can easily find the piece you’re looking for (with the table and chairs being different colors, obviously that helped a lot too). It also seems to be very well constructed and I can’t wait to set it out for my son.

4 Stars Pretty Good Option
It is a great option. The chairs are very sturdy and stable for a climbing toddler (18 mo.) and great for my four year old too! The edge of the table is a little cheapy looking and the stabilizers could not be installed because they made the table rock. However, the latter might be our uneven floor. Not sure. My cousin had no problem with the stablizers. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and even without the stabilizers the table does not tip easily with my toddler climbing it.
